what will the next 24 hrs bring?
The last 24 hours have been pretty fun.
I invited Sarah and Lauren over for a sleepover, I wanted to invite Owen over but as soon as I brought it up with my mom she cut me off and refused to let Owen sleep over, I guess that she doesn’t know that he slept in the same room when we both went up to Laurens cottage. Hehe, no one has to know…
Well Lauren pulled an all nighter the night before, so by the time 12:30 rolled around she was out like a light. Sarah and I talked for a bit about politics and such when I thought of playing a prank on Lauren. In Ottawa they wrote in big red permanent marker ‘RED’ all over Blues face (yes they have a guy on the improv team named Blue). So we wrote ‘improv whore’ on her forehead, then erased it and put ‘improv queen’. We put make up on her. Too much blush, bright purple/red lipstick and metallic green eye shadow and wrote ‘and scene’ on the side of her face. Best of all, we took pictures.
That morning we invited Owen over and we hung out for the entire day. I had to baby-sit my brother so we couldn’t go out without taking him with us. But before I knew it, it was 4:00 and Lauren and Sarah went home. I talked to Owen for a bit then walked him to the TTC.
I looked up the tabs for the song in Brokeback Mountain called ‘The Wings’. I figured out how to read the tabs and I am now learning the song. I hope I will be able to perfect it by the time I have my next guitar lesson and I can show my teacher.
