kooka-burra's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the saint patty's day parade This is me, not doing my homework. I woke up earlier then usual today. Usual being 12:00, and today I woke up at 10:00. I am quite proud of myself and I felt like doing something today so I went out, baby sitting money in hand and walked all the way down to Louis and Crafts and got myself three more balls of yarn for my hat and matching scarf. On the way there I ran into the Saint Patrick’s Weekend parade. I love everything Irish. I am part Irish… I love the folklore, I love green, I love the holiday, I love the landscape, and I love the accents. I could go on and on. But I just love Irish. Sometimes, I like to think that secretly I really am Irish. So as I was walking to Yonge when I bumped into the parade and starting walking next to the bag pipers. I walked with the bag pipers all the way to Yonge st. where we parted ways. Walking beside them was just a joy. The bagpipes were loud and close enough to me so I couldn’t here anything but the music. I felt very Irish. After I got my wool I walked down to Winners and looked around for a very long time. I hate Winners, and the Bay. We need a Target!!! Any way I looked at purses, nothing. I looked at shoes, nothing I looked at clothes. Finally something. I got one shirt… one, after all that time. Winner’s sucks. So now I can do two things. I should be doing my homework. I don’t even know what I need to do besides my dance articles, and my geo work sheets. Which I can’t do because I need an atlas. Or I can knit. Oh c’mon I just had a very long walk. All the way from Brunswick to Yonge and then back again. That takes up a girl’s energy.
